Dear Valued Users,

We are pleased to inform you that Autodesk has recently released the latest version of their industry-leading software, Maya 2024. We have devoted significant efforts to ensuring the compatibility of our products with this new release.

However, due to recent changes in the software, we have had to update several scripts to guarantee seamless compatibility. This includes the removal of 'pymel,' which has caused issues for some users. We have conducted comprehensive tests on all our tools, but there may be instances where some of them do not perform as expected initially. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Groomer's Tool:

The Groomer's Tool is now functional in Maya 2024.
Pymel is no longer required for the Groomer's Tool in Maya 2022/2023.

XGen Deep Backup:

Backup files will now store the 3dPaintTextures folder.
Users will be able to manually select a backup path.
Rolling back a file will now take into consideration the backup folder, .ma/.mb file, .xgen file, entire collections folder, and entire 3dPaintTextures folder.
Each time a rollback is initiated, the tool will make a copy of the 3dPaintTextures folder and xgen folder into a temporary folder (xgt_temp).

XGen Guide To Curves:

Added 'Relink Guides' function to reconnect lost guides with their associated mesh.
Added a rescuing operation to salvage curves from missing scenes with XGen nodes still available.

XGen Guide Cut:

Guides not in the current live description can now be cut and will stay in its description.

XGen Ptex Viewer:

Users can now browse to a custom map directory to preview maps that are renamed or located in a non-XGen default folder.

Curve To Tubes:

Added the ability to scale tubes in X or Z independently.

Curve Pivot To Root:

This tool has been added to the main UI for ease of access.

Curve Trim:

Redesigned the cutting algorithm for curves to enhance the success of more complicated shape curves.

PaintFX to Curves:

Curves will now snap properly to envelope mesh if there's a transform.

Curve Add:

Clicking in empty space will now result in a warning instead of an error message.

Curve To Braid:

Curves with the same names in the scene will now be converted to braid as well.

Main UI:

When getting an update, it will now display only one validation window instead of three.
