Hello there!

Groomer's Tool now offers support for Maya 2025. Additionally, there's a minor update (12.06) available in case you missed it!

I encourage you to give it a try and provide me with your feedback. Your input will help improve the tool.

Here's what's new:

Curve Manipulator:

Added the ability to select next or last CVs from the current CV selection.

Curve Fill

Added the ability to create a unique center curve from selected curves.

You can also generate a center curve from groups of curves all at once (with Create From Groups checked)

Curve Trim V.2.0

Updated the trim tool. Now you can choose to keep either the tips, root, or both. Note that if a curve intersects with the geometry in multiple places, only the longest section will be kept.

PaintFX to Curves:

Updated so that selected geometry no longer requires UV. The tool will automatically duplicate a mesh and run an auto-UV for each painting operation.

Guide Cut/Extend:

Added the ability to extend guides.

Braid Tool:

Updated to address issues when curve transform and shape node have the same name, which previously caused the generation of side curves to fail.
